We still have a few things that haven’t been settled for the house. Well, actually more than just a few things. Firstly is, if we will be able to pay whatever that we wanted in addition of what we already knew. What thing for sure is that, I don’t think we have put aside enough money for our furniture and electrical appliances.
We (Well, me mostly) have been dreaming of an electrical owen, a cooker hoot, a flat screen plasma TV, laminated flooring for first floor, built-in kitchen cabinet with breakfast table, extra sink in the washing machine area (for my last minute wash or small items), a posh low tv stand for the plasma TV, a small bath-tub which can fit into our small bathroom. I’ve been working on looking for the most essential items first, but still, for sure I want to keep dreaming for the perfect home.
I went to look for toilet bowl this afternoon. I went up to CAN production site. Found that and assured that I can get their manufacturer price straight on from them instead of going to another middle person. They also do delivery!
At the moment, the house is not totally done yet. We still haven’t got the ground floor to the same level, the rewiring and plaster ceiling haven’t got started yet. Later it will be putting up cement counter top with tiles for the kitchen. I’m getting Jaya (in City Mall) to draw out the floor plan for me. They do laminating floor too, plus I know the owner. So, it is business with favor plus trust.
When it comes to price, that is our biggest worry. I hope to be a wise consumer, getting the best deal and getting the best result in terms of quality and function. Well, it is weekend and yet I still feel tire thinking about the house. But let me just keep dreaming, next in the list: my scrap-room!! *Grin* Maybe with a big scrap table complete with internet access and printer!
